Hi, I’m Steffany – the heart behind HeyAbue!

My passion for caring for older adults comes from two very special people: my grandmother Noris, whose love and wisdom I’m blessed to enjoy every day, and my grandfather Horacio, whose memory lives in my heart and guides my purpose. 

For over five years, I’ve dedicated my time and love to supporting older adults not just as a caregiver, but as someone who truly values connection, patience, and presence. I’ve had the privilege of caring for seniors who welcomed me as if I were their own granddaughter, sharing stories, laughter, and moments I will treasure forever.

I created HeyAbue to make sure no grandparent ever feels alone, even when their family lives far away. Through simple messages, tech help, gentle reminders, and warm conversation, I provide personalized care like a digital granddaughter. 

I believe in love without distance, presence without pressure, and care that feels like home. HeyAbue is my way of honoring my grandparents and extending that same love and dedication to other families. Because those who once cared for us… deserve to be cared for too.
